A unique 400-piece jigsaw puzzle featuring the front page of The Washington Post newspaper on a chosen date, this is a fun and unusual gift to mark a special occasion. Discover what was front-page news on a date with special, personal significance or choose a momentous occasion from American history. ‘The Eagle Has Landed’ was the headline for 21 July 1969 when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon. These made-to-order jigsaws are high-quality reproductions taken from the increasingly rare archive originals, stretching back 80 years to 1933.
Simply supply the date of your choice to capture the special event. A full-sized paper copy is included to make the puzzle easier to complete, and the central piece is shaped like a newspaper, the perfect starting point. Each jigsaw is individually made-to-order using high quality 1.5mm millboard, hand finished by expert craftsmen. The jigsaw arrives in an attractive presentation box, the box lid is printed with space to add a special gift message.
